WHAT'S YOUR VALUE?
Creating a list of 5 - 10 of your core values allows you to see what is most important in your life. It brings awareness to what you would like to create more of. It also helps when deciding what you don’t want in your life.
You can rank your values in order from least to most important and relate them to the different areas of your life.
Here’s how to do it:
Grab a piece of paper & a pen.
Start by asking yourself the question...
What is most important to me in my life?
Why is it important?
How does it make you feel?
What else is important to you?
What brings you joy?
What can’t you live without?
What else?
Why, Why, Why...?
Your values generally end up being emotions. Relationships may be important in your life but when you focus on why, the value might be connection or love. You may find that your values have a different ranking in your different life areas.
Your life areas are:
Career
Intimate Relationships
Family & Friends
Finances & Wealth
Health & Physical Wellness
Fun & Entertainment
Personal & Spiritual Development
At different times in your life, different areas will have greater importance to you.
