I'm clear on who benefits from my experience and expertise in the area of removing blocks from your life and getting shit done!
I noticed some time ago a recurring pattern in my life.
I was always the guy who worked his arse off for someone else to make them lots of money. At some point I’d get resentful that I was working so hard and didn’t have anything to show for it. I'd quit. Feel happy for a moment. And then start the whole process again for someone else. I had some warped idea that it was safer for me to work for someone else than to do my own thing. Doing my own thing was just secretly something I wanted desperately but wouldn't allow myself to consider.
My notions that I wasn't good enough, that I was inferior to everyone else and that I didn't deserve any better were so ingrained I didn't even notice them keeping me small. I just didn't even dare to want more.
The drudgery got really monotonous and I got sick of hearing myself complain about the situation I was choosing to be in. Something had to change!
An old friend of mine was posting stuff about The Spiral on her socials. I didn't really know what it was, but I had to have it. She was doing her own thing - An accomplished entrepreneur seemingly killing it! I realised I was yearning for the freedom she seemed to have. So I signed up. Did the course. Quit my job. Started my own business teaching yoga and felt clear, light and free!
It would have been enough for me to quit my job and continue teaching yoga full time. But I knew I WANTED MORE.
I became a certified Spiral Practitioner in Feb 2020 and knew this was the path I wanted to explore. The Spiral took all my years of personal development, yoga teaching & study, teacher training facilitation, workshop presentation, coaching & mentoring, and allowed me to tie them up in 1 neat package! I could share all those things and more with the world, AND have a positive impact on people’s lives.
And yet I would have been happy to put it all on the back burner if it hadn’t been for a certain worldwide pandemic. I had to rely on my new found skills to stay afloat through lock-downs, lock-outs and studio closures. At a time when I would have been saying “You’ve done enough” I had no choice but to do more. I extended myself and created a whole new way of living in a world whose reality was collapsing.
IT’S EASY TO THINK THAT WHAT YOU DO IS WHO YOU ARE.
If I'd held onto the belief that I’m a yoga teacher, as comfortable as it was, I wouldn't have been able to survive. I’m more than one thing. I’m more than a job.
I HELP PEOPLE SEE WHAT’S POSSIBLE FOR THEM WHEN THEY REACH BEYOND WHO THEY THINK THEY ARE.
I can do that because I do it for myself. I know the value of challenging yourself to go beyond what you think you're capable of. That's why I'll back you all the way.
So whether you're in my yoga class or my 3-month coaching program, I've got you.
